BETTER PENSACOLA FORUM TO HOST PREMIER PARTY AT NEW YORK NICK'S

Latest Installment of Pensacola: A Proud Past, A Better Tomorrow discusses life as a thirty-something in Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. (November 25, 2009) - Better Pensacola Forum is hosting a premier party for the latest installment of "Pensacola: A Proud Past, A Better Tomorrow." The party will be held December 2nd from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. at New York Nick's on Palafox Street. The event will feature a screening of the latest show, as well as networking opportunities and drink specials.

The show, hosted by Debbie Ritchie, features a guest panel of local young professionals, including Dena Bush, Tiffany Washington and Steven Hernandez, who discussed life as a thirty-something in Pensacola. This is a follow up to the September show which revealed the results of the 2009 Quality of Life survey conducted by the Better Pensacola Forum.

The 2009 survey, a follow up to the 2008 Quality of Life Survey, tracked the opinions of 800 registered voters, chosen at random, in Escambia County. The hope of the Better Pensacola Forum is that the annual surveys will provide a benchmark of public opinion, as well as insights on trending, which will be useful to the leadership of the area.

The premier party is free and open to the public. Individuals interested in making Pensacola a better place to live, work and play are encouraged to attend. For additional information, please visit www.betterpensacola.org, or contact Alison Griffith at 850-434-9095.
